With the ability to keep track of routes in your workshop you will find you can make powerful smart sets to get accurate information about jobs and their current routes.

The below you will find a few examples of creating smart sets based on various routing info.

  • From the BusinessMind home page click on the Workshop link.

  • Under the View Jobs section click the New SmartSet Query option.

  • This will display the smart set creation area.  Here you can Name your smart set if needed and select any column information you want displayed.  For this example I have selected Route, Route Due, Route Start, Route End, and Route Tech

Depending on the information you are looking for you can search any of these route fields or any combination of them.  It is important to note that your results will always be for the current route.   For this first example I am going to search for jobs that are currently at my polisher using the route tech search..

  • Select Route Tech from the search drop down menu. contains (case-insensitive) Enter your search criteria.  In my example its Polish.  Click the Test Rules button to display your results.

For my second example I will simply search the Route.

  • So again the search is very similar but instead of Route Tech I have selected Route.

Or you can make any number of combination of searches based on Route times and Route techs.

  • Once you created your smart set you can Save it for use at a later date by clicking the Save Smart Set button.
